Greetings, SyncSpiders!
As we edge closer to International Labor Day, a time ripe with opportunity for eCommerce merchants, let’s dive into the fascinating world of seasonal statistics. While Labor Day might not ring as a traditional holiday, it stands out as a pivotal moment for rejuvenating sales after the quieter summer months.
Though September may seem distant, now is the prime time for eCommerce entrepreneurs to strategize and prepare. Historically, Labor Day has proven to be a lucrative period for online sales, making it a critical focus in your commercial calendar.
Recent years have underscored reasons for optimism: The advent of COVID-19 and a sweeping shift towards digital consumerism left many relying solely on online shopping, propelling 2019’s online sales to an impressive $2.2 billion. And if that doesn’t capture your attention, consider that 2020’s figures soared even higher, reaching a staggering $2.6 billion.
With Labor Day this year on the horizon, it’s the perfect moment to start crafting your eCommerce marketing strategies. Use this chance to get inventive and motivate your customers to snap up your remaining summer stock.
To catapult your online sales this season and make Labor Day one of your standout eCommerce events of the year, consider these two tactics:
- Implement time-sensitive sales.
- Roll out special holiday offers.
And now, back to the other side of the coin: preparing your store. This week, we’ve focused on enhancing your experience by upgrading several key integrations, targeting the persistent bugs that have been a concern. Updates have been made to Shopware 6, Navision, Shopify, eBay, Shipstation, Amazon, Google Shopping, and SyncSpider Core.
Stay informed and accelerate your growth!
Improved integrations
Shopware 6
For our Shopware 6 users, we’re thrilled to announce a new feature. You can now use GAIA SFC to enhance your product customization.
Navision
We improved Navision integration, and you can now add the Schedule option/trigger.
Shopify
We managed to solve the issue some Shopify users experienced with metafields. Instead of being written on defined metafields, the data is being added to undefined metafields. Furthermore, users who have experienced issues updating stocks with the new products and getting warnings that SKUs are missing will be happy to know that the problem is fixed. However, we have to mention that it happens only if more than 250 products have been added.
ShipStation
We put our minds together to help clients using Shipstation integration, which sometimes shows issues with sending orders. The problem is caused by disappearing credentials (yet to be resolved), so pay attention when you’re entering your credentials.
Amazon
We also fixed the issue some Amazon users experienced when setting up the maximum and minimum seller prices on the mapping process.
Google Shopping Content
Google Shopping users now have the option to list/unlist products, both regular and bulk.
