Happy Valentine’s Day! We’re thrilled to share some exciting updates from your preferred integration tool.
First up, let’s talk about Prestashop! Why the spotlight on Prestashop, you ask? We’ve been busy making enhancements and squashing those pesky bugs that have been a nuisance.
Here’s a rundown of what we’ve accomplished:
- The process for creating Variable products with Child associations now functions smoothly, eliminating the need for any workarounds.
- We’ve introduced logic to set a default combination for Variable Products. However, please note this only applies to existing combinations.
- In the Prestashop admin, Combination Options are now displayed in a clear, textual format. (Remember: For Color options, use HEX values so SyncSpider can correctly identify and apply them to the Combination.)
- Product Attachment data is now reliably saved following Product updates.
- Combination data will now be stored only after updating the Parent product.
But that’s not all! We’ve also ironed out bugs and enhanced functionalities in Shopify, ITscope, and the SyncSpider core updates.

Improved integrations
Shopify
For Shopify users, we fixed the bug causing problems when pulling data from a field item and shipping lines/discount allocations. The value was not shown on the mapping screen even though it is readable inside the JSON response.
ITscope
ITscope users will be happy to know that we improved the ITscope integration when used as the destination with the option to add the Buyer ID field to the mapping screen.
SyncSpider core updates
- We fixed the problem some users experienced with selecting items. The select component was used to get stuck when a lot of data was selected.
- We fixed the issue some users experienced with the product name value.
- We fixed some minor issues with triggers that some users experienced. No more task performances outside the schedule.
