This year, eCommerce continued its rapid growth, with over 26.6 million stores now operating globally. In the first ten months alone, 1.6 million new websites were launched, demonstrating the unrelenting momentum of online business. Customers, as always, remain discerning, with 99% checking reviews before making a purchase—a clear sign of how critical trust and authenticity have become in this competitive space.
Amid this dynamic landscape, innovation also stood out. Mirakl, a leading marketplace solution provider, announced its acquisition of Adspert, a data-driven advertising optimization tool. This strategic move enhances Mirakl’s retail media capabilities, introducing AI-powered advertising optimization to its platform. It’s a powerful reminder of how technology continues to reshape the way eCommerce businesses operate, setting new benchmarks for efficiency and growth.
For SyncSpider, 2024 was nothing short of remarkable. We welcomed over 1,000 new users, introduced 10 new integrations, and implemented more than 250 improvements and features. These advancements helped us achieve a major milestone—15 million task runs since the day SyncSpider first went live.
And while reflecting on the year as a whole, we also kept the momentum going right to the end. Last week, our development team focused on resolving issues and enhancing integrations for Lightspeed R, Shopify, and Mirakl. These updates ensure we continue delivering the reliability and performance you count on.

We have improved our Create/Update Item, Get Items with Relations, Get Transformed Items, and Get Customers entities for Lightspeed Retail (R-series) integration.
Mirakl
We fixed the issue some users experienced with Mirakl integration, which was being unable to update Orders.
