Release Notes 203

Hi, SyncSpiders!

Ready to explore what’s new in the world of eCommerce integration and automation? This time, we’re focusing on an important topic: returns. If you’re in eCommerce, chances are you’ve dealt with returned items. But how have you managed them, and were you able to resell them?

Statistics show that 22% to 44% of returned clothing never finds its way to a secondary consumer. This is particularly true for online clothing sales, where 20% to 30% of all online orders are returned. It’s clear that returns present a significant challenge.

On a brighter note, our development team has been busy resolving issues with Odoo, Mirakl, and CSV files. Plus, we’ve made updates to the SyncSpider core.

Check out all the details below!

Mirakl

We found the reason for the task execution failure on Mirakl integration. Luckily, it was just a broken communication during HTTP protocol traffic. We also addressed the issues with XLSX files when uploaded as product templates within the product entity.

CSV

We fixed the issue with uploading CSV url-files and getting the error that the file is corrupted, even though the file can be opened.

SyncSpider Core Updates

  • We found the key issue a user had with their orders not being exported without any warning or error message. The problem was caused by an empty key value, which had to be filled with data.
